What is Divination
It is methods used by psychics, mediums, or individuals that help to give them the ability to foresee the future. People often seek diviners when they are going through difficult times, have lost a loved one, or need guidance and advice. The type a diviner chooses depends on their preferences and abilities.

Astrology
This practice of astrology relies heavily on the planets and stars. Many believe that these systems influence what happens in the human world and the course of in your destiny.

Tarot Cards
The card reader will use the information provided by the cards drawn to apply it to the situation of the person they are reading. During these readings, the cartomancer will answer questions posed by the person being read. They will also have the ability to provide insight into the past, present, or future.

Cleromancy
Use of small objects (pebbles, crystals, bones, sticks, dice etc).
In Cleromancy, you’ll need 13 light colored pebbles and 13 dark colored pebbles of roughly the same size. Ask any yes or no question, place the stones or pebbles in a bag or bowl, and shake them well. While you shake the bag, ask your question 2 more times.
Close your eyes and grab a handful of stones. Place them on a flat surface and count the number of light stones and the number of the dark. If there are more light pebbles the answer is in your favor. If there are more blacks, the answer is no.
If you picked up the same amount of both, there is no answer, and you’ll have to try back later.

Runes:
Rune Stones come in a set of 24 ancient alphabetic symbols. They can be made of different materials – wood or glass, stone are most common and attractive – and usually kept in a pouch or box. They usually come with a book of instructions defining the symbols.
You can pick just one rune from the pouch and read it.
Ideally ruins are cast on an East-West axis or facing the sun. A cloth is laid down that has a divided circle drawn on and used to determine the direction of the casting. From here the focus should lie with the pressing question. After casting the stones onto the cloth the ones which have fallen the right side up are read and depending upon whether the rune is reversed or not will have a bearing upon its meaning and the reading as a whole.
Pick a rune stone randomly for a day reading; you can also do a 3 rune spread. Some feel that the day rune is a good way to get an answer to a single question. The 3 Rune Spread is used for asking broader questions whereas the single rune can be drawn on a daily basis.

Dowsing
Dowsing is often used to receive answers to yes and no questions. One method is to use a dowsing rod wood or metal or Pendulum to get the answers. There are two types of dowsing that are popular:
The type used with wood or metal rods that are used to locate areas where there may be water. The belief here is that when the individual walks over water, the rod will make a spontaneous movement. This method is also sometimes used to find missing objects.
The second type of dowsing divination is when the diviner uses a pendulum to get answers to yes, no, or maybe questions.
Diviners will use this type of divination to locate missing objects, bodies of water, or determine the energy of a room.

Lithomancy
Lithomancy uses stones, crystals, or rocks. Each piece has a meaning, before you can use this divination to your advantage, you need to learn the stone meanings.

Cheiromancy or Chiromancy (Palmistry)
Palmistry is one of the oldest forms of divination.
This is done by studying the shapes of hands, lines, digits, fleshy mounts, flexibility, and also any spots that are on the hands. The signs of the zodiac, the sun, the moon, and the planets are assigned to areas within the hand.
The passive hand (usually the left hand) carries the imprint of destiny at birth and one’s potential, while the dominant hand (usually the right) is a map of how that destiny has or has not been carried out.

Scrying
An ancient method of divining, scrying requires an investigation of water, smoke, fire, mirrors, or crystals that would allow them to enter a state of mind where they’re able to see spiritual visions within.
Crystal balls have been used for thousand of years, by all walks of life. People use them to see visions that tell the future or to commune with the spirit world.
Fire or Smoke Scrying. This method is exactly what it sounds like – staring into flames of a fire. People with psychic or special abilities will receive visions this way.

Tasseography Tea Leaf or tea cup reading
